Our Factory
Founded in 2008 TAILUN is one of the largest coating manufacturers in China, and is committed to the technical research and development and production of adhesive materials in consumer electronics, automotive, electrical and other industries Main products include protective film, adhesive tape, release film and PI products, etc.
The mesh release film (paper) is formed through rapid cooling and embossing processing, with clear patterns, no crystal points, spots or impurities, beautiful appearance, uniform grid shape, and good temperature resistance.
Coated with fluorine release film on the surface of the substrate, the fluorine release film does not react with the silicone adhesive surface and the release force is stable; Widely used in the production and manufacturing of PI, green high-temperature tape, silicone double-sided tape die-cutting and punching, thermal conductive silicone tape casting and other industrial products in the adhesive system.
Coating non silicon release on the surface of the substrate performs better in the electronic material industry that is sensitive to silicon. We often use non silicon release bonded silicone products, and some customers who require no silicon at all require such release.
Coating silicone oil release agent on the surface of the substrate, silicone release agent has advantages such as high and low temperature resistance, good water resistance, and good fluidity, and is commonly used for bonding acrylic adhesive, polyurethane, etc.
R-PET release film: Tailun uses chemical recovery method to reverse recover waste, removes impurities after alcoholysis of PET waste, and produces R-PET after multiple purification, achieving efficient recovery and regeneration cycle under the premise of quality assurance.
PP polypropylene film has good heat resistance and stability. The characteristics of polypropylene ultimately vary depending on the type, which enables the use of PP release membranes in many fields.
The main characteristics of PET polyester film are its excellent heat resistance and stability. It is precisely because of these advantages of PET, combined with the various release force options provided by Tailun, that it can be widely used in industries such as electronics, mobile phones, adhesives, printed circuit boards, packaging, printing, screen printing, transfer printing, engraved boards, film switches, flexible circuits, insulation products.
Due to the various characteristics of PE polyethylene film, PE release film can be utilized in multiple fields. Due to its price advantage, PE is considered the best alternative to release paper.
Smooth protective release film especially destined for the rubber and tire industry, is used during the rubber curing process for tires, retreads, rubber sheeting, rubber patches, and tire linings. Also known as PE release film, and tubber separator film.PE Rubber Release Film improves the mechanical properties of the rubber, prevents pollution, and retains freshness, stickiness, and cleanliness of the rubber compound.Films are also designed with high-heat resistance and manufactured in co-extrusion technology using Polyethelene material that doesn't interact with the other materials present in the various rubber compounds.

Let's take a look at the difference between ordinary plastic film and PE release film, cut a piece of tape, stick to these films separately, and then peel it off. It feels very easy to open, and there is no sound during the peeling process. It is the release film that has been coated with silicon, and it is more difficult to peel off. It is a general plastic film that has not been coated with silicon.
Using this method, it is also possible to distinguish whether it is a single-sided silicon-coated single-silicon release film or a double-sided silicon-coated double-silicon release film, and even compare the amount of silicon coated on which side and the size of the peeling rate.
Use a water pen to test, scratch the film surface, no ink can be drawn on the surface of the release film, and there will be ink marks of different shades on the general film. The appearance of plastic release paper and coated paper of the same standard cannot be seen, but the difference between them can be distinguished by the above method. The appearance of glossy general paper and coated paper is sometimes very similar. But if you tear them apart by hand, generally the paper has only fibrous hairs at the edge of the tear, and the coated paper will have some small membranes in addition to the wood fibers.
If you test with tape, there will be a noise on the coated paper during the process of removing the tape, but nothing will stick to the tape, and the glossy ordinary paper will stick to the coating and wood fibers on the surface of the paper.
Due to the existence of paper wool and fibers on the surface of the paper, there is a danger of infiltration when silicone oil is applied. In order to ensure a stable peeling force, it is generally subjected to plastic coating treatment (commonly known as lamination) before coating.
Types of PE Release Film
LDPE (high pressure low density polyethylene): Non-toxic, tasteless, odorless, translucent spherical or cylindrical particles, excellent low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, good extensibility, electrical insulation, but poor wetness, Flammable. Density: 0.910-0.9408G/CM3 (g/cm3), suitable for extrusion, blister, injection molding, vacuum, molding, and conversion molding and other processing methods. The crystallinity is 55-65%, and the crystal melting point is 108-126℃.
HDPE (low-pressure high-density polyethylene): Non-toxic, tasteless, odorless white powder or columnar or semi-circular particles, with wear resistance, capacitance resistance, water impermeability, flammability, poor flexibility. The melting point is about 130℃, and the relative density is 0.941-0.965. Has good heat and cold resistance. It has good chemical stability, high rigidity and toughness, good mechanical strength, good dielectric properties and environmental stress cracking resistance.
Density: 0.941-0.9708G/CM3 (g/cm3), use: Mainly used for blister molding, manufacturing various bottles, cans, barrels, industrial storage tanks, etc., hollow packaging.
LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene): Tasteless, odorless, non-toxic powder or granules, high hardness and anti-wear properties, good heat sealing and hot tack. Density: 0.91-0.940G/CM3 (g/cubic centimeter); Mainly used for making films, but also for injection molding and blistering. Compared with LDPE, it has the advantages of high strength, good toughness, strong rigidity, heat resistance and cold resistance.
PE release film is polyethylene plastic with stable chemical properties. It is usually used to make food bags and various containers. It is resistant to acid, alkali and salt aqueous solutions, but it is not suitable for wiping or soaking with strong alkaline detergents.
PE release film is divided into high-density, low-density and linear PE. The most commonly used daily is to make various plastic films and plastic sheets.
PE pipe has medium density polyethylene pipe and high density polyethylene pipe. According to the wall thickness, it is divided into SDR11 and SDR17.6 series. The former is suitable for conveying gaseous artificial gas, natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas, while the latter is mainly used for conveying natural gas. Compared with steel pipes, the construction process is simple, and it has a certain flexibility. More importantly, it is not used for anti-corrosion treatment, which will save a lot of processes. The disadvantage is that the equipment is not as good as the steel pipe. In the construction, special attention is paid to the safety distance of the thermal heating, and it cannot be exposed to the sun in the air, and it is sensitive to chemicals to prevent the leakage of the sewage pipe from causing damage. Specific gravity: 0.94-0.96 g/cm3; Molding shrinkage: 1.5-3.6%; Molding temperature: 140-220℃.
The Difference Between Coated Paper And PE Release Paper
First, the material identification process of the release paper
Sometimes, the silicone-coated glassine release liner is indistinguishable from the regular silicone-coated release liner of the same specification and color on a desktop, and they have the same release characteristics. However, glassine paper is made of high pressure light, so the paper is more uniform and flat, and generally more transparent, so you can easily distinguish the transparency and the uniformity of the paper by looking at the transparency and the uniformity of the two similar papers against the light. , it really doesn't work, just tear it apart by hand, and you can see the film fragments are PE coated paper
Second, the difference between coated paper and release paper
The appearance of the glossy plain paper and the release paper is sometimes very similar. The release paper is used for die cutting, but if they are torn by hand, the plain paper has only fibrous hairs at the torn edge, while the lamination paper is used for die cutting. In addition to wood fibers, paper also has some small membranes. If you test with tape, there will be a noise on the coated paper when the tape is removed, but nothing will stick to the tape, and the glossy plain paper will stick to the coating and wood fibers on the surface of the paper.
Third. Material identification process of coated paper
From the appearance point of view, there is no difference between the coated paper and the silicone-coated plastic release paper of the same specification; and the silicone-coated PE coated paper is not easy to distinguish from ordinary coated paper, but you only need to use the help of With a few simple tools and operations, the difference between them can be well distinguished, a piece of tape, a signature pen, plus a small hand tearing test, there are plastic release paper and coated paper of the same specification It can't be seen from the appearance, but the above method can also distinguish the difference between the two.
Three Kinds Of Coating Process Of PE Release Film
First Process
- Scraper coating: Scraper coating often has uneven glue coating. PET release film manufacturers mainly have a lot to do with the processing accuracy of the scraper, the installation method of the scraper, the angle between the scraper and the rubber wheel, and the viscosity of the coating. The flatness of the scraper requires high precision, that is, the scraper does not warp, deform, or notch, otherwise the coating error will be large. When applying glue, the angle between the contact tangent line of the scraper and the rubber wheel is generally between 15 degrees and 30 degrees. If it is too large, the scraper may be on the back of the rubber wheel. The rubber wheel tends to vibrate when it is running, resulting in uneven glue application and large differences in the amount of glue applied. It may even cause unevenness and scratches on the surface of the coating film, and damage to the blade.
Second Process
- Light-duty roller coating: This is a coating method that uses two or more rollers to transfer, and the amount of coating can be adjusted by adjusting the gap and speed ratio between the rollers. The structure of this coating method is relatively complicated. The processing precision and assembly precision of the rubber roller, coating roller, traction roller and scraper are very high. Because this kind of coating machine uses high-precision smooth rollers to coat the rubber, the coating effect is good, and the coating amount can be adjusted not only by the gap between the rubber roller and the coating roller, but also by the adjustment of the coating blade. Fine-tuning to achieve control, high coating accuracy.
The Third Process
- Roller coating: This kind of gluing equipment mainly adopts roller coating, which has good coating uniformity and accurate coating amount. But the disadvantage is that it is difficult to adjust the amount of glue applied. When using roller coating, the amount of glue applied is related to the depth of the concave hole of the roller and the characteristics of the glue itself.
Material preparation: Prepare raw materials, including base paper, glue, paint, etc.
Gluing: Apply glue to the base paper to increase its adhesive properties.
Lamination: Laminate the base paper and release material together to form release paper.
Drying: Dry the release paper at high temperature to make it completely dry and firmly bonded.
Cooling: Cooling the release paper to maintain its stability and performance.
Cutting: Cut the release paper as needed to adapt to different usage scenarios.
Packaging: Pack the release paper to protect its performance and service life.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a PE Release Film
Material Type
The first consideration is the material type of the release liner. Paper liners are typically used for low-tack adhesives and applications that require printability. They offer a smooth surface that allows for excellent print quality, making them ideal for industries such as labeling and graphic arts.
On the other hand, film liners offer excellent moisture resistance and dimensional stability, making them suitable for high-performance applications. They are commonly used in industries such as automotive, electronics, and medical, where durability and reliability are paramount. Film liners can withstand harsh environments, including extreme temperatures and exposure to chemicals, ensuring the integrity of the adhesive.
Adhesive Compatibility
Another critical factor to consider is adhesive compatibility. Different adhesives have varying degrees of aggression and require specific release coatings to ensure proper release. It is crucial to choose a release liner that is compatible with your adhesive system to avoid any bonding issues or adhesive transfer.
For example, silicone release liners are widely used due to their excellent release properties and compatibility with various adhesive types. They provide a smooth and consistent release, ensuring that the adhesive sticks to the desired surface without any residue. However, certain adhesives may require specialized release coatings, such as fluoropolymer or polyethylene, to achieve optimal performance.
Application Requirements
The specific requirements of your application will also play a significant role in determining the ideal release liner. Consider factors such as temperature resistance, chemical resistance, and die-cutting capabilities. Understanding the environment in which the release liner will be applied will help you choose the most suitable option.
For applications that involve extreme temperatures, such as automotive or aerospace industries, release liners with high-temperature resistance are essential. These liners can withstand the heat without compromising the adhesive performance, ensuring long-lasting bond strength.
Chemical resistance is crucial in applications where the release liner may come into contact with solvents, oils, or other chemicals. Using a release liner that is resistant to these substances will prevent degradation and maintain the integrity of the adhesive.
Die-cutting capabilities are essential for applications that require precise shapes or sizes. Some release liners are specifically designed for easy die-cutting, allowing for efficient production processes and reducing waste.
Technical Indicators Of PE Release Film
The dry silicon coating amount refers to the amount of release agent coated on the material, and the unit is grams per square meter. Generally, the coating amount of solvent-based silicone oil ranges from 0.30 to 0.80 grams per square meter, and the coating amount of solvent-free silicone oil ranges from 0.80 to 1.30 grams per square meter. Professional testing equipment is required to test the coating amount.
The amount of silicone oil coating directly affects the peeling performance. The higher coating amount can cover the base paper densely and ensure the uniform distribution of silicone oil. However, the lower the amount of silicone oil coating, it is prone to leakage and other phenomena, resulting in poor peeling. Some release coating suppliers reduce the amount of silicone oil coating, resulting in heavy peeling and producing heavy release paper, which is quite risky during use.
Peel force at room temperature, the peel force data obtained through standard test methods at room temperature, the unit is N/25mm, how many grams can be converted into.
Generally 0.10N/25mm, that is, the peeling force below 10g, commonly known as light peeling;
0.20N/25mm, that is, the peeling force below 20 grams, commonly known as medium peeling;
0.35~0.45N/25mm, that is 35~45 grams of peeling force, commonly known as heavy peeling;
0.60~0.80N/25mm, that is 60~80 grams of peeling force, commonly known as heavy peeling;
Of course there is also 0.03~0.04N/25mm, which is a peeling force of 3~4 grams, commonly known as light peeling;
It also has a peel strength of 1.00N/25mm, which is more than 100 grams, commonly known as overweight peeling.
Aging peel force, the peel force data measured after aging is generally slightly larger than the normal temperature peel force.
The residual adhesion rate refers to the force of the release paper after the first peeling and the second peeling. The calculated data mainly reflects the curing effect of the silicone oil.
